Stay Logged in with Zip's Google Chrome Extension

We are offering customer who use Google Chrome the ability to stay logged into their accounts for 90 days. Doing this will allow you to jump into your shopping experience faster as you will be able to skip the some of the usual steps to login with your phone number.

That being said, if you do not want to stay logged into your account, you will have many opportunities to opt out/log out. Here are some examples:

• This first screen shows the message after successfully logging in. A Your device will be remembered for 90 days notification pops up. If you want to opt-out, you can click the No Thanks link to turn this off.

• From your main account page, you can choose the Log out option to also opt out of this feature.

 

• Even as you are going through the checkout process, you will see a notification letting you know your login info will be remembered and you can opt out by clicking the No thanks link.

 

Question: How can a customer log out of the extension if they don’t have access to the browser they logged onto? 

Answer: You can log out of all devices via the customer portal. Ask the customer to log into the portal and ask them to navigate to Devices and then click “log out of all devices”
