Your Zip reference number for an order, known as the Order ID, is not the same as the merchant-specific order number you receive from a merchant upon completing a purchase.
Similar to your one-time-use virtual card, your 12-digit Order ID is also exclusive to Zip. Once you've completed an order and your Zip installment plan is created, you'll be able to see its Order ID in the Orders section of your Zip app. You can also see Order IDs of all your current and past orders in the Zip Customer Portal.
If you have any questions regarding your order's status, please reach out directly to the merchant with the information provided in their confirmation email for your order.
If you do not receive a response from the merchant and need to contact Zip Support regarding an order issue, be sure to reference the Zip Order ID and not the merchant-specific order number, which Zip's systems do not have access to.
