Do you love Zip? Did you know you can share Zip with family and friends through our Refer a Friend program?
With this program an eligible existing customer can refer an unlimited number of friends to download and use Zip. For each successful sign up and purchase, they will be rewarded by getting $10 off an order (maximum 5 referral limit). The new customer that was referred to our service will also get $10 off of their order.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the refer a friend reward, the following requirements must be met:

Must have paid off at least the first installment of the first order.

Must not have any outstanding installments past due.

Must not have already received 10 referral rewards.
And in order for the new customer (the one receiving the referral) to be eligible, the following requirements must be met:

Must enter a referral code within 30 days of Zip account creation.

Must not have received a previous referee reward (user can't enter multiple codes to receive multiple rewards).

Must not have already placed an order with Zip at the time of referral code entry.

Must be a new customer.
Reward Payout
Referee Rewards (new customer)

The referee reward is triggered when an eligible referee installs the app, signs-up, and they enter the referrer’s referral code.

The $10 referee reward expires 30 days from the day the user was approved for app use and issued an app balance.

The $10 referee reward is auto-applied, starting with the last installment of the user’s first purchase.
- The $10 reward can only be redeemed on in-store or online purchases made using the Zip app.
Referrer Rewards (existing customer)

The referrer reward is triggered when an eligible referee (their friend) successfully pays the first installment of their first order.

The $10 referrer reward expires 30 days after it’s issued.

The $10 referrer reward is auto-applied, starting with the the last installment of the user’s next purchase.
- The $10 reward can only be redeemed on in-store or online purchases made using the Zip app.
If you are not seeing your rewards being applied, please try the following:
- Restart the app
- Uninstall and reinstall the app
If these suggestions do not work, please contact customer support and we can look into the matter further.
Refunds Applied to Reward Orders
There will be times when you receive a refund on an order where a reward was already applied. Here are how these refunds are processed in each scenario:
Full Refund
If you initiate a full refund on an order on which a reward was applied, on completion of the refund we will return the reward credit to your account to be used on your next order.
Partial Refund
If the refund is a partial refund, our system will first try to adjust the amounts due for any remaining installments to be paid and then refund the reward. If all installments are already paid, then we will refund back to the payment method.
