Under new guidelines from California’s Department of Business Oversight, we have made
updates to our fee structure for California residents.
Because of this change, we are refunding all installment fees and late fees paid by California consumers on Zip purchases on or before April 21, 2020, when this new ruling went into effect.
If you fall into this group, these fees have been returned to you via refund to the original card on file. Note that each fee was reversed independently, which means you may see several refunds processed together. If we were not able to complete the refund, we credited the amount against any open payment plans in your Zip account.
If you have still not received your refund because the above attempts were unsuccessful, we will be refunding you via check by July 2nd. If this is relevant to you, please check your email for more details.
