The Report a Refund button in the Zip app (previously Quadpay) tells us that you have already returned part (or all) of your order to the merchant.
It can take up to 13 days from the date that the merchant has issued a refund for your refund to process.
NOTE: The Report a Refund button is only intended for Zip app purchases. Purchases made through checkout are not eligible.
Here's how you can report your refund, in 5 easy Steps:
Choose the Orders tab in the Zip app, locate your order either under Open or History. Then tap on the Order.
Once at the Overview tab, click on the Details tab.
This page includes your Reference Number, Purchase Date and Status.
Choose the Report a Refund button at the bottom. *You might have to scroll to see it.
You will receive a message asking you to follow the merchant’s rules for return. Once we're alerted by the merchant, Zip will automatically refund the order. This screen will tell you to return the item and follow the merchant’s refund procedures. Make sure to keep the shipping ID# and wait for the merchant to process a return/refund.
Once the return is complete, it will show on your Zip order.
You'll receive a confirmation once the refund is processed and then we can refund the order.
When you click done, the order screen will show the refund listed as 'In-progress.
See the screens below for each step in the Report a Refund process.
If you're still having issues, you can also contact us here about the status of your refund.
