We are sad to hear that you wish to deactivate your Zip account!
You now have the option to deactivate and reactivate your account directly from the Zip App. Deactivating your account means that you will not be able to make any new purchases with Zip, but your account details and order history will still be available.
Deactivate
To deactivate your account, complete the following steps:
- Log into your Zip mobile app on your phone
- At the bottom, select the Account tab.
- Scroll down to the About Zip section
- Select Close my account
- Select Deactivate and you will receive the confirmation screen shown below

If you are not receiving the screens shown above, please make sure you have the latest version of the Zip App downloaded.
Reactivate
To reactivate your Zip account, complete the following steps:
- Log into your Zip mobile app on your phone
- On the home screen you will see the screen shown below. Select Reactivate your account
- You will then receive a confirmation message and can resume making purchases on the Zip App
To have your Zip account permanently deleted, you will need to submit your request to Zip Support here.
