# How do I place an in-store order with the Zip app?

 Zip now offers one card number for your online and in-store purchases\*. When you switch in the Zip app, your new Zip card number replaces your existing Zip virtual cards. Your existing orders and payment plans are not affected.

Switching is optional for now. If you haven't switched yet, you can keep using your current Zip card experience, described below.

### **If you've switched to your new Zip card number:**

Your new Zip card number works in-store, nearly anywhere Visa is accepted.\* Before your first in-store purchase:

1.  Remove your old Zip card from Apple Pay or Google Pay.
    
2.  Add your new Zip card to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
    

To pay in-store:

1.  Open the Zip app, tap the In-Store tab, and select Pay In-Store.
    
2.  Choose Not sure yet for your purchase amount to create your Purchase Request.
    
3.  Pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay as you normally would.
    

Merchant doesn't accept Apple Pay or Google Pay? They can enter your Zip card number manually. You'll find it in the In-Store tab of your Zip app.

Old card still in your wallet? Once you've switched, your old Zip card no longer works for in-store purchases.

### **If you haven't switched yet**:

With the Zip app, you can make an in-store purchase nearly anywhere\* that accepts Visa!

#### To purchase in store

1.  Tap the In-Store tab in your Zip app
2.  Select Pay In-Store
3.  Choose “Not sure yet” for your purchase amount
4.  Review your installment summary and Truth in Lending Disclosures and tap Continue
5.  Your Zip Virtual Card is now ready for payment! Tap add to Apple or Google Wallet
6.  You can now scan your Apple or Google Pay using the Zip Virtual Card for your order.

Note: If a merchant does not accept Apple Pay or Google Pay, they can manually enter the Zip virtual card info, which can be found in your Zip app In-store tab after creating the in-store Zip virtual card.
